The CCC volleyball team headed to Fort Dodge, Iowa to face off against Iowa Central yesterday afternoon. A recap of the match is below:
The Raiders started strong, playing a very tough first set but ultimately losing 25-23. In a display of determination, CCC came back to win the second set in extras with a score of 26-24. Despite this surge, the Tritons secured the victory by winning the next two sets, 25-17 and 25-14. Chloe Henn led the team with 10 kills, while Meah Sackett had a team-high 30 assists. Maleigha Johnson contributed defensively with 14 digs.
The CCC volleyball team's record now stands at 8-7. They will be back in action this Friday and Saturday at Johnson County Community College, where they will face Johnson County CC, Lincoln Land Community College, and Fort Scott Community College.
