The CCC volleyball team headed to Estherville, IA yesterday afternoon to face off against Iowa Lakes Community College. A recap of the match is below:
The Raiders started the match with a dominant, tone-setting performance in set one, winning 25-11. The Lakers put up a tough fight in the second set, but CCC's defense was too much to handle, as they edged out a 25-23 victory. In the final set, it was all Raiders, who cruised to a 25-8 win to secure the match sweep. Mallory Dreesen led the team in kills with 9 and Meah Sackett contributed 26 assists. Marin Reilly and Rae Goeden both had 9 digs in this one as well.
The CCC volleyball team moves to 8-5 and is back in action on Thursday vs Western Iowa Tech at home at 6pm.
