The CCC women's soccer team faced off with Highlands Community College in a home match yesterday evening. A recap of the match is below:
Central and Highlands were treated to an extremely nice 73 degree day on Tuesday for their match. Central did not waste any time and got to the scoring early with a nice goal from freshman Erin Harris. Shortly after, another freshman, Hannah Janda put a ball in the back of the goal as well for both of their first goals in the Raider green. The second half saw a defensive battle and CCC coasted to their first win of the season 2-0.
CCC women's soccer moves to 1-0-1 and is in action August 29th, at 12 noon at Dakota County Technical College.
