The Central Community College softball team faced off this past Monday, at home, in a doubleheader vs. a tough DMACC squad. A recap of the doubleheader is below:
Game 1: DMACC- 9 Central- 1
Central Community College faced a tough challenge against Des Moines Area Community College, ultimately falling 9–1 after the Bears pulled away in the middle innings. Jordyn Trotta provided a spark for the Raiders' offense by recording a hit, scoring the team's only run, and adding a stolen base, while Kloey Johnson and Danica Taylor each contributed a hit to the total. On the mound, Lextyn Harker pitched a complete six innings and recorded a strikeout, but she was credited with the loss as the DMACC bats found their rhythm.

Central Community College battled through a tough matchup against Des Moines Area Community College, ultimately falling 10–3 after the Bears' offense pulled away late. Kami Kaskie led the Raiders at the plate with a 2-for-3 performance including a double and a run scored, while Trotta also finished 2-for-2 with an RBI.
