Game 1: Northeast- 0 Central- 8
The Central Community College Raiders delivered a masterclass on both sides of the ball, cruising to an 8-0 shutout victory over Northeast Community College. Kami Kaskie headlined the offensive explosion with a career day, racking up two doubles and a home run to drive in five massive RBIs. Joining her in the multi-hit effort was Bella Larsen, who finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and a pair of runs scored to keep the pressure on the Hawks all afternoon. On the rubber, Callen Heule was untouchable, tossing a complete-game shutout and scattering only five hits across seven dominant innings.
Game 2: Northeast- 4 Central- 5
The Central Community College Raiders displayed incredible resilience in a 5-4 thriller, edging out Northeast Community College to complete the road trip sweep. Power was the name of the game for the Raiders, as Danica Taylor and Kayla Fox each launched pivotal home runs to provide the offensive spark. Bella Larsen was also a force at the plate, finishing 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI, and a stolen base to keep the pressure on the Hawks' defense. On the mound, Logan Rainforth delivered a gritty complete-game performance, battling through seven innings and striking out two to earn the hard-won victory. The Raiders' speed was on full display, with Larsen, Fox, and Delaney Reeg all swiping bases to create scoring opportunities.
The Raiders move to 11-12 and play NIACC at NIACC on Saturday March 28th.
