The CCC men's soccer team faced off with Dakota County Technical College in an away match Saturday, Aug 30th. A recap of the match is below:
DCTC did not waste any time and got to the scoring early with an early goal within five minutes of the game. Shortly after, CCC equalized with a goal from Leo Morley-Robertson on a PK. Both teams were able to add one more goal before half, with CCC's coming from Rodrigo Gete (assisted by Zeke Lucas.) The second half offensive shoot-out saw five more goals scored. Central's goals were scored by: Morley-Robertson (PK), Luca Reicher (assisted by Carlos Colina) and Harvey Brook (assisted by Morley-Robertson.) The saw the Blue Knights leading the Raiders 4-3 with 12 minutes to play. Reicher's goal tied it up at the 70th minute and then Brook's goal sealed the deal at the 76th minute, giving CCC the 5-4 win.
CCC men's soccer moves to 3-0 and is in action Sept 4th at Iowa Western Community College at 6pm.
