The CCC men's soccer team got the regular season started this weekend with a home match against Metropolitan Community College. A recap of the match is below:
Central and Metro CC were treated to a gorgeous 75 degree day on Saturday for their match. This one started very slow, with the first goal coming 33 minutes in by Anton Todling (assisted by Luke Edmondson.) Right out the half, Central was able to start pushing the balls and getting shots on goal, which led to goals from Anton Todling (assisted by Luca Reicher & Kristof Nemeth) and a goal from Juan Lopez (assisted by Marlon Reichelt.) CCC did not let up and scored three more times, scored by Harvey Brook (assisted by Leo Morley-Robertson & Luca Reicher), Juan Lopez ( assisted by Michel Glasing), and Kolvidur Helgason ( assisted by Marlon Reichelt & Michel Glasing.) The potent offense of the Raiders proved too much for Metro CC giving Central the 6-0 win.
CCC women's soccer moves to 1-0 and is in action August 26th, Tuesday at 1pm at home vs Northeastern Junior College.
