The Central Community College men's soccer team won at Pratt (Kan.) Community College, 3-1, on Saturday, halting a six-game winless streak.
The Raiders commenced the scoring 11 minutes into the contest when Adam Tourche scored on a penalty kick for a 1-0 lead. Ten minutes later, CCC's Syrus Conolly boosted the lead to 2-0 when he scored a goal off the assist of Miguel Raymundo-Jesus. The Beavers got on the board with one minute remaining in the first half when Gustavo Dias Juliani scored an unassisted goal which made the score 2-1. In the second half, Adam Tourche scored his second goal in the 57th minute with Conolly and Matheus Menegueli assisting. The score read 3-1, which turned out to be the final score. CCC netminder Jesse Wubs finished with five saves.
The Raiders are 4-4-3 on the season and will return to action on Wednesday when they host Johnson County (Kan.) Community College. Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. at Raider Field.
