In a high-scoring battle against conference powerhouse Iowa Western, Central Community College fell 91-75 on Wednesday night. The Raiders stayed competitive in a fast-paced second half, outscoring the Reivers 41-40, but they were unable to overcome a 17-point halftime deficit after Iowa Western exploded for 51 points in the opening frame. Mo Abdalla led the Raiders with a gritty 16 points and four rebounds across 39 minutes of action, while Brandon Jarmon provided a massive spark off the bench with a team-high 20 points. Despite shooting a solid 47.4% from the field and 38.1% from deep, CCC was hampered by 19 turnovers, which the Reivers utilized to maintain their double-digit lead throughout the match.
