The Central Community College men's basketball team headed to Fort Dodge, IA to face off against a very good Iowa Central Community College, on Wednesday, December 17th. A recap of the match is below:
In a tough road test against a good Iowa Central Community College squad, the Central Community College men's basketball team showed flashes of brilliance and a persistent competitive drive. Despite a high-powered start from the hosts, the Raiders found their rhythm in the second half, outscoring Iowa Central 45-43 during the final period. The offense was sparked by Brandon Jarmon, who led the scoring effort with 14 points. Keme Jones and Mo Abdalla provided critical perimeter support, combining for three triples, while Brody Johnson anchored the interior with 7 rebounds and a team-high 3 blocks. The Tritons win this one 96-65.
The Raiders move to 8-6 and are in action next vs NIACC on January 3rd at home.
