Tredyn Prososki scored 23 points off the bench to lead the Raiders to a 93-68 victory at Northeast Community College on Friday night.
The Hawks had an 11-6 advantage at the 14:42 mark of the first half when the Raiders responded with a 13-0 run to take a 19-11 lead. Northeast tied the game at 24-24 with just under three minutes to play and the score was tied at 31 apiece at halftime.
Central rattled off a 10-0 run over the first three minutes of the second half to go up 41-31. The Raiders would then outscore Northeast, 15-7 to take a 55-38 lead with 13 minutes remaining. The Hawks pulled to within nine, 59-50, with just under 10 minutes to play, but the Raiders never let up and cruised to the 25-point win.
Dwight Glover Jr. scored 19 points while Derek Merwick (pictured) chipped in 16 points. Caleb Muia hauled in 10 rebounds. As a team, CCC bested the Hawks in bench scoring, 36-20, and scored 21 points off 16 Northeast turnovers.
