Men’s Basketball: NECC Outlasts CCC

The Central Community College men's basketball team lost at Northeast Community College on Wednesday night, 93-85.

It was a tale of two halves for the Raiders as they fell behind by 24 at halftime, 56-32. In the second half, CCC got going defensively, the shots started to fall and the deficit was cut to seven points. However, that's as close as it got and the Hawks were able to hold on for the victory.

Malik Mooving led two Raiders in double figures with 25 points. Latrell Talley logged a double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds.

CCC is now 9-12 on the season.

Next up for the Raiders, a division battle with Southeast Community College at Raider Fieldhouse on Friday night.
