The CCC volleyball team matched up with Southeastern Community College last night in West Burlington, IA. A recap of the match is below:
The Raiders fought very hard in this one against a very good Blackhawks team. The first set was extremely close with SCC edging it out 25-23. The second was even closer but saw the same result with the Blackhawks winning set two 26-24. In the third, SCC got a lead the raiders were unable to puncture, giving SCC the set three win 25-21 and the 3-0 sweep win. Chloe Henn led the team in kills with 10 and Meah Sackett contributed 25 assists. Mallory Dressen led the team in digs with 10.
The CCC Volleyball team moves to 16-15 and is back in action on November 1st at Iowa Central Community College in the first round of the Region 11 Championships.
