The Central Community College volleyball team defeated North Platte Community College, 3-0, on Thursday night in North Platte.
The Raiders showed a strong performance in all three sets, winning by scores of 25-23, 25-23 and 25-19.
Marin Reilly led CCC in kills with 15. Libbie Ball tallied 41 assists while Maleigha Johnson also had an impressive performance with 26 digs.
"It's always good to get a region win on the road and I was pleased with our ability to bounce back after a tough loss last night," said CCC head coach Mary Young. "Our hitters did an excellent job of taking care of the ball and using a variety of shots to stress NPCC. While our match wasn't the cleanest, I was pleased with our ability to overcome errors and fight for the win."
The Raiders move to 11-5 and are in action next vs. Metropolitan (Mo.) Community College on Sept. 27 at the Cowley Invitational Tournament in Arkansas (Kan.) City.
