Volleyball: OWH Recognizes CCC Players
Central Community College volleyball's Chloe Odbert and Emily Otten have been named to the Omaha World-Herald All-Midlands Junior College Volleyball team.
A freshman from Columbus, Odbert played in 39 matches and led CCC with 673 digs.
A sophomore from Omaha, Otten played in 35 matches and was second on the team in kills and digs with 311 and 366, respectively. She also made 40 blocks.
Additionally, CCC's Ashley Brown, Kamryn Chohon, Rachel Otten and Josie Richards received Honorable Mention honors.
"Being named to the All-Midlands team is a great honor for all of our athletes whether it's first team or honorable mention," said CCC head coach Mary Young. "Chloe and Emily were such tremendous leaders for our team this past season and played such a huge part in our success. In addition, both completed their degrees in December at CCC, which was a great end to their careers as Raiders."
The Raiders won the Region 9 championship in 2021 and finished the season with a 20-19 record.
