Volleyball: CCC To Play for Region 9 Title

The Central Community College volleyball team earned a spot in the Region 9 championship match with a 3-0 win over Southeast Community College on Wednesday night. The final scores were 25-8, 25-13 and 25-23.
Ashley Brown sported 13 kills and 19 digs while Emily Otten posted 11 kills, 16 digs and a pair of aces. Josie Richards finished with 10 kills and 15 digs. Kamryn Chohon dished out 40 assists and 17 digs. Chloe Odbert led the Raiders in digs with 29.
The win gives CCC a record of 18-17.
North Platte Community College will host the Raiders in the Region 9 title match. During the regular season, each team posted 3-0 victories at home. Saturday's championship match begins at 3 p.m.
