Women's Soccer: All-Stars Announced
Central Community College athletics has named the Girls Soccer All-Stars.
Fifteen deserving girls soccer players from across CCC's 25-county service area were selected and each will receive a commemorative medallion. They are:
- Juana Calachij, Forward, Schuyler High School: Played 11 games in 2026 and recorded two shots on goal. Coached by Daisy Mejia.
- Rylee Eberhart, Defender, Lakeview High School: Scored four goals and logged one assist. Eberhart will attend Northeast Community College. Coached by Gerber Recinos.
- Molly Goc, Midfielder, Columbus High School: Recorded 21 goals and eight assists in 2026. Coached by Zack Wayman.
- Emely Gonzalez, Defender, Aurora High School: Will continue her soccer career at Central Community College. Coached by Micayla Dunn.
- Hannah Heinrich, Midfielder, Scotus Central Catholic High School: Recorded four goals and five assists in 2026. Will study animal science at UNL. Coached by Kristie Brezenski.
- Kate Hoffman, Defender, Scotus Central Catholic High School: Scored four goals in 2026. Coached by Kristie Brezenski.
- Kayla Hoffman, Midfielder/Forward, Scotus Central Catholic High School: Scored seven goals and totaled seven assists in 2026. Hoffman will attend UNL. Coached by Kristie Brezenski
- Reese Holscher, Forward, Kearney High School: Logged 25 goals and 17 assists in 2026. Holscher will attend the United States Naval Academy. Coached by Lerrin Rowe.
- Molli Kalsbeck, Midfielder, Kearney High School: Scored 17 goals and tallied four assists in 2026. Kalsbeck will continue her soccer career at Concordia University. Coached by Lerrin Rowe.
- Josie Larson, Defender, Columbus High School: Recorded one goal and two assists in 2026. Coached by Zack Wayman.
- Addie Snyder, Midfielder, Kearney High School: Finished 2026 with 20 goals and six assists. Snyder has signed to play soccer at Concordia University. Coached by Lerrin Rowe.
- Bella Stromberg, Forward/Defender, Lakeview High School: Tallied seven goals and one assist in 2026. Stromberg will play soccer at Central Community College. Coached by Gerber Recinos.
- Taryn Thieszen, Defender, Kearney High School: Recorded three assists in 2026. Thieszen has signed with Northeast Community College. Coached by Lerrin Rowe.
- Kassandra Trevino, Forward, Kearney Catholic High School: Compiled six goals and four assists in 2026. Trevino will play soccer at Central Community College. Coached by Bruce Lear.
- Lizzy Walton, Defender, Northwest High School: Played in all 17 games in 2026 and recorded four shots on goal. Walton will study at UNK. Coached by Molly Nicol.
"This is a great group of talented players and I think it shows the quality of soccer players that can be produced in our service area," said Jamie Bennett, CCC head women's soccer coach. "I have been fortunate enough to see all of these girls play at one point this season and they are all deserving of being selected as a CCC All-Star."
The naming of Central Community College All-Stars takes the place of traditional all-star games which had previously been held at CCC venues.
