The Central Community College women's basketball team headed to Northeast Community College on Wednesday, February 11th. A recap of the match is below:
Central Community College showcased a dominant individual performance and a strong start, but ultimately fell to Northeast Community College 72–63 after a high-scoring final frame. The Raiders controlled the tempo early, jumping out to a 15–6 lead in the first quarter and maintaining a slim advantage heading into the final period. However, Northeast surged for 30 points in the fourth quarter to pull ahead. The story of the game was Lexi Fiscus, who scored a game-high 34 points and 14 rebounds, marking a massive double-double. Jayla Merrill added 12 points and 6 boards, while Delaney Reeg anchored the playmaking with 5 assists.
