Central Community College faced a tough road test against Iowa Western, falling 88-66 after a dominant middle-half surge by the Reivers. The Raiders started strong, ending the first quarter tied at 15-15, but they were outscored 55-29 over the second and third periods as Iowa Western capitalized on a significant 52-33 rebounding advantage. Despite the loss, Central saw standout performances from Jayla Merrill, who sparked the offense with 20 points on 5-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc, and Lexi Fiscus, who nearly recorded a double-double with 18 points and 9 rebounds.
