The women's basketball team secured a decisive 69-54 victory over Southwestern Community College. After a slow start in the first quarter (trailing 13-6), the Raiders surged ahead, outscoring SWCC 24-13 in the second quarter and maintaining control through the remainder of the game. Key to the win was CCC's dominance on the boards, outrebounding the Spartans 43-29, and their efficient free-throw shooting (18-25, 72.0%). Central also minimized mistakes, committing only 8 turnovers compared to 16 for SWCC.
Lexi Fiscus spearheaded the attack for the Raiders, leading the team with 18 points and a team-high 11 rebounds.
