Women's Basketball: Kirkwood Eagles Take Down the Raiders in Cedar Rapids

The Central Community College women's basketball team headed to Cedar Rapids Iowa to faceoff against Kirkwood Community College, on Saturday, December 6th. A recap of the match is below:

The Central Community College Raiders faced a challenging matchup on December 6, 2025, and ended up falling to the undefeated Kirkwood Community College Eagles with a final score of 72-38. The Raiders struggled significantly against the Eagles' intensity, particularly on the defensive end. CCC committed 25 turnovers compared to Kirkwood's 11, and the team's offense struggled to find its rhythm, shooting just 22.6% from the field for the game. Despite the difficult outcome, Lexi Fiscus led the scoring effort with 14 points, connecting on three 3-pointers. Cayleigh Jackson and Delaney Reeg contributed a team-high 7 rebounds each.

The women Raiders move to 4-7 and are in action next vs Southwestern CC at home on December 11th.
