The women's basketball team of Central hosted the Midland University JV team at Raider Field house last night, November 13th. A recap of the game is below:
The Central Community College Raiders started strong, jumping out to a commanding 7-point lead in the first five minutes. However, the Warriors steadily worked their way back into the game, taking a narrow 32-30 lead just before halftime. The second half mirrored the first in terms of pace, as the Warriors slowly extended their advantage, entering the fourth and final period with a 10-point lead. The Raiders then staged a dramatic comeback, fueled by great ball security and timely defensive stops, ultimately winning the fourth quarter 24-13 to secure a thrilling 71-68 victory. Delaney Reeg led all scorers with 24 points and added 11 rebounds, while Lexi Fiscus also recorded a double-double, grabbing 12 rebounds.
