Over the weekend, the CCC Women's Basketball team resumed the 2024-25 season with a contest against Northeast Community College. The Hawks defeated the Raiders, 91-65.
In the first quarter, CCC played Northeast close and trailed 13-11. In the second quarter, the Hawks pulled away from the Raiders to lead by 16 at the half. The second half more of the same as the the Hawks recorded the 26-point victory. Team-high in points was a tie between Ajae McKimmey and Lexi Fiscus as each scored 18 points. McKimmey also had 14 rebounds to give her a double-double.
The CCC Women's Basketball team is now 1-16 and are back in action on Jan. 14 at the Raider Fieldhouse.
