Women’s Basketball: Texas Guard Joins Raiders

Central Community College women's basketball is pleased to announce the signing of Desiray Diaz, a 2022 graduate of Iowa Park High School in Iowa Park, Tex.

Diaz (pictured center) helped lead the Hawks to a 20-14 record in 2021-22. She earned all-district honors as a sophomore, junior and senior. Diaz, who also participated in volleyball, earned all-state academic honors as well.

"Desiray is going to bring athleticism to both of the floor," said CCC head coach Billy Perkins. "We are blessed to have her join the Raider family."

Diaz will major in business administration at CCC. She is the daughter of Bruce and Tiffany Diaz of Iowa Park, Tex.

"I am so excited and blessed to continue my basketball and academic career at CCC," said Diaz.
