2/28/26
Game 1: Northeast Iowa- 5 Central- 4
Despite a spirited late-inning comeback, Central Community College fell just short in a 5–4 loss to Northeast Iowa Community College. The Raiders' offense was sparked by Kayla Fox, who delivered a standout performance at the plate by going 2-for-3 with a double and 3 RBIs. On the mound, Callen Heule was credited with the loss and pitched five innings and struck out four batters. While the team rallied for three runs in the top of the seventh, they couldn't quite overcome the early deficit to secure the win.
Game 2: Northeast Iowa- 1 Central- 9
Central Community College dominated from the start, securing a commanding 9–1 victory over Northeast Iowa Community College in five innings. The offense was fueled by Jordyn Trotta, who went 2-for-2 with a double and an RBI, and Fox, who drove in two runs to help build the early lead. Logan Rainforth delivered a stellar performance on the mound to earn the win, pitching a complete five-inning game while allowing only two hits and striking out four. This well-rounded effort saw the Raiders score in four of the five innings to comfortably cruise to the win.
2/29/26
Game 1: Ellsworth- 7 Central- 2
Central Community College struggled to find an offensive rhythm in a 7–2 loss against Ellsworth Community College, managing only two hits throughout the contest. Delaney Reeg provided a bright spot for the Raiders, recording a hit and an RBI, while Kami Kaskie contributed the team's other run-driven play with a sacrifice. On the mound, Logan Rainforth battled through five innings of work and struck out one batter, but she was ultimately tagged with the loss.
Game 2: Ellsworth- 4 Central- 2
Central Community College kept the game close but ultimately fell 4–2 in a hard-fought battle against Ellsworth Community College. Danica Taylor led the Raiders' offensive effort by going a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate, while Logan Rainforth provided the team's lone RBI and added a stolen base. Callen Heule went the distance on the mound, pitching a solid six innings and holding the Panthers to seven hits, but she was unfortunately credited with the loss.
