Game 1: Concordia JV- 0 Central- 10
Central Community College dominated Concordia in a 10-0 shutout victory in game one, powered by a relentless 10-hit attack and a commanding performance in the circle by Lextyn Harker. Harker earned the win with four scoreless innings and helped her own cause at the plate with a two-run double. The Raiders' offense was led by Kloey Johnson, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, and Bella Larsen, who finished 2-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs scored. Danica Taylor also played a pivotal role, reaching base in every plate appearance and driving in two runs with a line-drive double to center, helping CCC trigger the run rule in the fifth inning.
Game 2: Concordia JV- 3 Central- 15
Central Community College unleashed a relentless 15-hit offensive barrage to secure a 15-3 run-rule victory over Concordia in game two, headlined by a 13-run explosion in the very first inning. The power display was led by Taylor, who finished 2-for-2 with a three-run home run and four RBIs, and Kayla Fox, who added a three-run blast of her own to left field. Jordyn Trotta and Johnson were equally lethal, both recording doubles and combining for four RBIs to keep the pressure on. In the circle, Logan Rainforth earned the win and kept the Bulldogs at bay early, while Callen Heule provided stellar relief, striking out four batters over the final two frames to slam the door on any comeback attempt.
The Raiders move to 6-6 and head down to Florida for "The Spring Games," the world's largest college softball event. There they will play 8 games starting with Mott CC at 3pm CST March 7th.
