March 23, 2026
Central Community College athletics is pleased to announce the appointment of Brett Harris as head coach of the men's soccer team. He succeeds Luis Pulido.
Harris comes to CCC from Iowa Central Community College where he served as an assistant coach and head coach of the Tritons' junior varsity squad. In addition to recruiting and player development, Harris helped lead ICCC to its best record in seven years and a national ranking. He also has coaching experience at Southeastern (Iowa) Community College where he was part of the Blackhawks' NJCAA Division II Men's Soccer national championship in 2021. Harris began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa.
"I'm really excited to lead the CCC men's soccer team," Harris said. "The program has been run really well. The Raiders had a fantastic year last year and I'm excited to keep it going. I'm excited to be a part of the program and help the guys succeed."
A Dubuque, Iowa native, Harris earned a degree in exercise science from Cornell College and will complete an MBA from Clarke University this summer.
"We are excited to welcome Coach Harris to Central Community College," said Mary Young, CCC athletic director. "He brings strong experience in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference, one of the toughest leagues in the NJCAA, along with a proven track record of success. We're confident he will build on the momentum of our program, develop strong relationships with our student-athletes and the campus community and continue moving the program forward."
