The Central Community College men's basketball team hosted Iowa Central at home, on Wednesday, February 18th. A recap of the match is below:
Central Community College fell to Iowa Central 98–77 on Wednesday. The Raiders were led by a balanced scoring effort, with Tee Liban dropping 18 points on just 10 shots and Brody Johnson with 13 rebounds to go along with his 15 points. Merkv Torrance provided a major spark off the bench with 15 points and 5 assists, while Brandon Jarmon added 14 points behind four triples. Despite the Raiders' strong shooting and a competitive 46-point second half, they were unable to overcome an elite shooting display from the Tritons, who connected on 12 three-pointers and utilized a 20-assist performance to pull away.
Raiders move to 10-19 and are in action next at Iowa Lakes CC on Feb. 25th.
