The Central Community College men's basketball team hosted #2 DMACC at home, on Wednesday, January 28th. A recap of the match is below:
The Raiders went toe-to-toe with one of the most dominant teams in the country on Wednesday night, eventually falling 87–78 to a DMACC squad that brought a staggering 21-1 record into Columbus. Despite the loss, Central proved they could hang with the elite, pushing the Bears for all 40 minutes and out-shooting them from beyond the arc. The Raiders' bench was the story of the night, providing a massive spark that kept the game within reach until the final whistle. Brandon Jarmon with a team-high 20 points, while Mo Abdalla provided 18 himself. Nino Nesbitt anchored the starters with 18 points and 5 assists of his own.
Raiders move to 9-14 and are in action next at home vs Kirkwood CC on January 31st.
