The Central Community College men's basketball team hosted York University JV at home, on Friday, January 16th. A recap of the match is below:
Central Community College delivered a dominant, wire-to-wire performance in Columbus on Friday night, overwhelming York University JV 107-45. The Raiders' offense was firing on all cylinders, shooting nearly 50% from the floor and raining down 16 three-pointers as a team. Nino Nesbitt led the scoring barrage with a team-high 18 points— while Clayton Thomson added 14 points on sharp 4-of-6 shooting from deep. CCC's depth was on full display with six players scoring in double figures, including strong bench efforts from Tee Liban and Brandon Jarmon. Defensively, the Raiders were just as impressive, hounding York for 19 steals and dominating the glass 51-33, led by Brody Johnson's game-high 13 rebounds.
Raiders move to 9-11 and are in action next in Columbus on January 21st vs Iowa Western CC.
