The Central Community College men's basketball team hosted Southwestern Community College at home, on Wednesday, December 10th. A recap of the match is below:
The Raiders win this one 88 to 59,, despite some offensive woes throughout the game, the CCC defensive intensity and effort was there to hold the Spartans to just 59 points, on 32.8% shooting from the field and 15.4% behind the arc. CCC was led in scoring by freshman Brandon Jarmon, who poured in 19 pts, and freshman Mo Abdalla who added 17. Brody Johnson recorded his third double-double of the year with 12 points and 10 rebounds, despite being in some foul trouble early in the second half.
The Raiders move to 8-5 and are in action next at home vs Western Iowa Tech CC at 3pm on December 13th.
