The Central Community College men's basketball team posted an 88-78 win over Southwestern (Iowa) Community College in the closing round of the Pinnacle Bank Classic at Raider Fieldhouse.
CCC guard Roman Behrens (pictured) posted a double-double, scoring 26 points and distributing 10 assists. Tre'vion Crawford scored 20 points, Nathan Frost tallied 18 points and Dwight Glover logged 10 points.
The Raiders were up 42-28 at halftime and had to hold off a determined SWCC squad for the 10-point win.
"We knew they would be tough and come back on us, so I'm pleased we were able to keep our composure and continue to make big plays down the stretch," said CCC head coach John Ritzdorf. "I was very pleased with our effort on the defensive end of the floor, as well as our ability to withstand the runs they made."
With the win, the Raiders are 5-2 on the season.
Up next, CCC will host Concordia University JV on Tuesday night. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. at Raider Fieldhouse.
