ESports: CoD Warzone and Rocket League Seasons Come to a Close

The CCC ESports CoD: Warzone and Rocket League seasons finished up this past week. The last recap of the fall season is below:

CoD: Warzone:

Unfortunately, Central were unable to punch our ticket to the national tournament. CCC's 3^rd place best-of-5 regional match vs MGCCC started off with an 0-2 game deficit; the Raiders were able to turn things around, tying the series 2-2 before ultimately falling short in the 5^th game. Central finish 4^th place in our region in CoD: Warzone.

Rocket League:

Central got to play some great Rocket League over the weekend at Kato Clash. The Raiders fell in the first round to Wayne State 0-3, beat Northern Michigan Uni 3-2, and then had to face the top seed MNSU in the following match to stay alive. Despite a strong showing from our team, MNSU was ultimately better and took the series 3-0. Exiting the tournament 5th/6th, it was a great experience for the teams and we look forward to more in-person competition opportunities going forward.
