Shotgun Sports: Raiders Compete at the ICCACC Conference Championships
The Central Community College Shotgun Sports team shot at the ICCAC Conference Championship over this past weekend, competing across multiple disciplines over three days. With consistent team results, a thrilling shoot-off victory, and impressive individual performances, we showcased our skill and determination, securing multiple podium finishes.
Friday: Trap and Doubles Trap The championship began on Friday with Trap, where our team shot a strong 953/1000, earning 5th place out of 11 teams. In Doubles Trap, we finished 4th with a 440/500, just two targets shy of 3rd and five from 2nd, highlighting our competitiveness in a tightly contested field.
Saturday: Skeet and Super Sporting On Saturday, we competed in Skeet and Super Sporting. In Skeet, our team secured 3rd place with a 472/500, demonstrating quality precision. In Super Sporting, we took 4th with a 128/150, only three targets behind 3rd, keeping us in close contention for a higher spot.
Sunday: Doubles Skeet and Sporting Clays In Doubles Skeet, we shot a 439/500, tying with the Hawkeye CC for 3rd place. In a dramatic team shoot-off, Nick Brodsky, Everett Schuler, Tayte Rogers, Gabe Grove, and Dillon Fanta outshot the Hawkeyes to claim 3rd place. In Sporting Clays, we rounded out the weekend with another 3rd-place finish, scoring a 247/300.

Nick Brodsky also earned 5th in Skeet with a 98/100 after a shoot-off and secured 3rd in Doubles Skeet with a 93/100, showcasing his consistency and clutch performance.
